Health and safety

Cowal Gathering is a fun, family event. To make it enjoyable and safe for everyone, we have a few basic rules that we ask you to respect.

  • Please don’t bring alcohol into the stadium. We’re not licensed for this and it will be confiscated. The three bars in the stadium offer a great range of reasonably priced alcoholic drinks.
  • We’ll refuse admission to anyone who appears to have had too much to drink and to overly rowdy groups.
  • For everyone’s safety we have private stewards and a police presence within the stadium. Please treat them with respect and follow any instructions given. They’ll remove any individuals or groups from within the stadium who’ve had too much to drink or are being disruptive and disorderly.
  • Please don’t use a barbeque within the stadium or the car/bus parks next to the stadium. It’s a fire risk and Strathclyde Fire and Rescue and Strathclyde Police will enforce these restrictions.
  • We do allow dogs in the stadium, but keep them on a lead at all times and clean up after them. However, it’s worth bearing in mind that the stadium can be extremely busy and noisy and not all dogs are happy in this environment.
