Cowal Highland Gathering is the place to see the cream of Highland dancing as we host the Scottish and World Championships. Be prepared to be blown away by the grace, skill and stamina on display as the finest dancers in the world battle it out for the title of World Champion.
The dancing gets underway on Thursday with the Scottish National Highland Dancing Championship. Friday sees dancers from the US, Canada, Australia and South Africa join the Scots to compete in the Scottish Championships and the qualifiers for the World Highland Dancing Championship. And on Saturday it’s the finals of the World Championship – the most important event in the Highland dancing calendar. We also hold competitions to encourage emerging Highland dancing talent.
