The calibre of competitors in the solo piping competitions is always high and pipers travel from across the world to compete at Cowal.
The solo piping competition takes place on the Friday. The pipers have only one thing on their mind – taking home one of Cowal’s many prestigious trophies. They battle it out in Piobaireachd, March and Strathspey and Reel competitions.
There are competitions for pipers at the top of their game right down to novices just starting out on their bagpiping career. |
